Here’s how we made our giant bubble wand.
measuring tape or ruler
yarn or heavy string
wide tub or container
(The kids enjoyed making this bubble wand and seeing the giant bubbles it made. Even though we had success with this project, I’m sure we would have had even better results had we not used straws with bending necks.)
Pour enough bubble solution to cover bottom of container to a depth of 1 inch.
Cut 3 feet of yarn or string.
Thread the yarn or string through the two straws.
Tie both ends of the yarn or string together and pull knot through a straw so it is not seen.
Submerge wand in bubble solution.
Stretch out wand in bubble solution and gently lift one end first, followed by second. Blow!
Pour unused solution back in bubble bottle and use the remainder in the container to clean anything in sight! How about a patio table?
